Turner Prize
The Turner Prize is Europe’s most prestigious contemporary visual art award. Organised by the Tate gallery in London, the 2015 event was hosted by Tramway, an international art-space renowned for commissioning, producing and presenting contemporary arts projects.
LOOK™ conceived a creative concept that framed the Turner Prize as more than a contemporary art exhibition, but as an unmissable event and unique visitor experience. We designed, produced and applied a full suite of onsite branding, venue dressing, wayfinding and nationwide advertising.
— First time that the Turner Prize has been hosted in Scotland.
— 75,000 visitors, a record for Tramway.
— Over 16,000 people took part in related programme activities.
— Award announced live on Channel 4.
— Tramway has retained all wayfinding as a permanent fixture.
— Scottish Event Awards ‘Exhibition of the Year’ winner.
